110 miles down!

(DC posting) We seriously could not have asked for better riding weather- cool, no humidity, clear skies. In fact this was one of the nicest biking days I've ever experienced. Made for a wonderfully smooth day and we were enjoying our victory beers at Borne well ahead of last year's schedule.
Now we're sitting, listening to live music and talking about cancer- about how it's affected our loved ones, and the loved ones of those we love. As always this is a very emotional ride and there have been more than a few tears today. But for the most part they're good tears- tears of fond memories and the hope of healthier tomorrows.
Even if it's sad at times, it's nice to have such a raw reminder of why we ride.
